WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR VOTE TO THE POLLS, MAKE SURE TO TAKE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Texas driver's license
Texas election identification certificate (EIC) issued by the Department of Public Safety
Texas personal ID card issued by DPS
Texas handgun license issued by DPS
U.S. citizenship certificate containing your photograph
U.S. military ID card containing your photograph
U.S. passport, book or card
With the exception of the U.S. Citizenship Certificate, for voters aged 18-69, the identification must be current or have expired no more than 4 years before being presented for voter qualification at the polling place. Voters aged 70 or older may use one of the seven acceptable forms of photo ID that has expired for any length of time if the identification is otherwise valid.
Election Identification Certificates are available from all DPS driver license offices during regular business hours.
